Last updated: 28 October 2026
Kaizen Commercial Finishes Pty Ltd (QBCC Licence 15 646 499) ("Kaizen", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and run our business. Depending on how you deal with us, this can include:
- your name, company, phone number, email address and role, when you contact us or request a quote or tender;
- details about your project, such as its location, scope, program and drawings or specifications you send us;
- business information about builders, developers, suppliers and subcontractors we work with; and
- technical information that web servers record automatically when you visit this website, such as your IP address, browser type, device and the pages requested.
2. How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you when you call, email or meet us, and from people you authorise to deal with us on your behalf. This website does not have a sign-up or enquiry form. The phone number and email address in the contact section are shown only when you choose to reveal them.
3. Cookies, analytics and third-party services
This website does not use advertising cookies. It does use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are located and what device they use. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and collects this information in aggregate; we do not use it to identify you personally. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. The site also relies on other third-party services, which may see your IP address and basic browser details when your browser loads content from them:
- Google Analytics, which provides website usage statistics;
- website hosting and content delivery providers (for example Render and Cloudflare); and
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces used on the site.
These providers handle that information under their own privacy policies.
4. How we use your information
- to reply to your enquiries and prepare quotes, tenders and proposals;
- to plan, deliver and administer projects, including site coordination, safety and handover;
- to manage accounts, invoicing and payments;
- to meet legal, licensing, insurance and safety obligations; and
- to keep this website secure and working properly.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only where needed for the purposes above, for example with the builders, developers, consultants and suppliers on a project, our professional advisers, insurers, payment and software service providers, and regulators or authorities when the law requires it. Some of our service providers (such as cloud email and storage services) may store information on servers outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it appropriately.
6. Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, including limiting access to people who need it and using secure systems. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, then securely delete or de-identify it.
7. Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Questions and complaints
